This site is provided by GGO Systems Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales, company number 17268411. GGO Systems Ltd is the data controller for this website. We are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (registration number ZC174006).

patient-compass.co.uk is a public information site about the Patient Compass Suite. It has no accounts, no sign-in and no patient data. Patients reach a clinical pathway only through a link provided by their own surgical team, not through this site.

We set no cookies and store nothing on your device for analytics, and we run no advertising trackers or cross-site tracking. The usage measurement described under “Analytics & third parties” does receive your IP address and device details.

If you send an enquiry (a pilot, walkthrough or demo request) or unlock the full Leaflet Stress Test, we collect the business-contact details you type: your name, your email address and, if you give them, your organisation, role and the procedure you are interested in. GGO Systems Ltd uses them to reply to that request and to follow it up, on the basis of our legitimate interest in answering an enquiry you made. They are stored in our customer-relationship records (Notion) and in a short-lived record that prevents the same request being saved twice. They are not used for advertising and never reach a patient-facing system. We keep them for twelve months after our last contact with you, unless you become a customer; you can ask us to stop, or to delete them, at any time at info@ggo-systems.com. Leaflet text pasted into the Stress Test is processed transiently and is not stored.

If your practice signs its agreements through onboarding.patient-compass.co.uk, we collect the business and professional-registration details you enter (the legal entity, its address and contact, the responsible clinician's name, registration body and number, and indemnity details) and your electronic signature with its audit record (typed name, time, document hash, IP address and browser). GGO Systems Ltd uses them to prepare, sign, store and counter-sign your agreements and to set up your Helm workspace, as described in the Data-Processing Agreement and Information-Governance Note you acknowledge when you sign. They are stored in our records (Notion) and emailed to you and to us, and kept for the life of the agreement and for six years afterwards.

The site is served from a hosting platform (currently Vercel), which receives standard request metadata every time a page loads: your IP address, the page requested, your browser's user-agent and referrer. This is intrinsic to how the web works and is governed by the host's own privacy policy. We do not store or further process it.

For anonymous, aggregate usage statistics we use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-preserving tool hosted in the EU (Germany). Plausible sets no cookies, stores no personal data, and cannot identify you or track you across sites, so no consent is required. Optional video services are described below.

We are trialling HeyCatch (HeyCatch, Inc., United States) on this site and on our onboarding site (onboarding.patient-compass.co.uk) to understand how visitors use them. HeyCatch receives the address of each page you open (without any values after the “?”), which links and buttons you click (without their text), and your IP address and device details. It never receives what you type into a form. It sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device, so each visit starts afresh, and it collects nothing if your browser sends a Do Not Track signal. HeyCatch stores this data in the United States. We rely on our legitimate interest in improving these sites; you can object at any time by contacting us.

Tutorial thumbnails and written transcripts are hosted on this site. The tutorial player connects to YouTube only when you press Play. It uses YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode, but playback still sends your browser's request information to Google. Google's privacy policy applies when you use its video service. You can read the transcript without loading YouTube.

The separate founder walkthroughs use YouTube-hosted thumbnails. Their players load when you press Play. Links labelled Watch on YouTube open YouTube in a new tab.

Under UK GDPR you may ask us about the data we hold, request its erasure, or object to processing. As this site holds no account or patient data, in practice there is little to act on, but you can always contact us. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).

If we make material changes to this notice, we will update the date shown above.
